You can browse public profiles without creating an account. Voting and sending reports require an essential browser cookie.

Information we use

When you choose to vote or submit a report, we create a random anonymous browser identifier in a signed cookie, valid for up to 180 days. We associate votes with this identifier and show only aggregate counts publicly. Administrator sign-in uses a separate session cookie.

For abuse prevention, the service processes connection information and keeps a keyed, one-way representation of the IP address for rate limiting. This is not displayed publicly. Operational logs record request and error information; passwords, cookie values, report text, raw IP addresses, and report emails are excluded from application logs. Google Cloud and Cloudflare may separately retain IP addresses and other connection information in platform and security logs under their own policies.

Reports

Reports contain the text and optional profile slug and email you submit. Only administrators can view and resolve them. Include an email only if you want us to be able to reply. Do not submit sensitive personal information.

Service providers

Google Cloud hosts the application and stores its records. Cloudflare provides domain and network services and Turnstile abuse checks. Their services may process technical connection and device information. Cloudflare privacy policy · Google privacy policy.

Control your vote

Use “Remove my vote” on a profile to remove the vote associated with your current browser identity. Clearing cookies removes the browser’s identifier but does not remove votes already stored, and may prevent you from managing them. Cookie expiry does not automatically delete stored votes.

Retention and requests

Active votes are kept to maintain the results. Reports and operational records are retained for service operation and issue handling; this beta does not promise a fixed automatic deletion period for those records. Rate-limit records become eligible for automatic deletion 24 hours after their limit window resets. Storage cleanup is asynchronous, so deletion may occur later. Backups may retain removed records until their retention period ends.

To ask about access, correction, deletion, or a profile’s use of personal information, send a privacy report. Anonymous records may be difficult to identify after a cookie has been cleared. We may need more information to locate the relevant record.

Analytics and advertising

This beta does not include advertising or optional analytics cookies. We evaluate the service using operational records and aggregate voting activity. Any material change will be reflected in this notice.
